Guest Blogger: Adam Castaneda Adam Castaneda is a dancer, writer, editor, and educator. He studied dance at Houston Community College where he performed with the school's African Dance and Drum Ensemble for three-and-a-half years. He received his MA in American and British literature from the University of Houston. Now, he enjoys teaching freshman-level English at Houston Community College - Northeast, freelancing for Houston Press, Houstonia Magazine, Texas Arts + Culture, and Dance Source Houston, and performing with FrenetiCore Dance. He also performs at Lipan Urban African Performing Arts Collective under the artistic direction of Gabriel and Julie Bata.
