Long Wharf Theatre invites local Non-Equity actors ages 14 to 60 to audition for the musical Tiger Tiger Tiger to be produced by the Next Stage Program, a program for early career theatre professionals.

Director Emma Rivlin gives the classic fairytale a fresh, modern twist in her witty new production in which Prince Ramiro falls for the one girl who is unimpressed by his wealth and glamour, despite the attempts of her nouveau-riche sisters to turn his head. Musical director Andrew Macmillan leads a thrilling young cast including Rowan Hellier (fresh from her success as Rosina in OperaUpClose's The Barber of Seville) and French mezzo Sylvie Bedouelle as Cinderella, with Christopher Diffey (Rodolfo in OperaUpClose's La Bohème) and Lawrence Olsworth Peter as Ramiro.

A Christmas Carol, the Charles Dickens' Holiday Classic about Ebenezer Scrooge and his visit with three spirits to change his nasty ways, makes its way to the Grove Theatre with a cast of 50. The holiday tale comes to life with Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley, The Fezziwigs, Tiny Tim, Orphans and Carolers. Join us for this wonderful holiday tale and get into the spirit of the season!

Cabrillo Music Theatre proudly announces its fourth consecutive year of providing holiday entertainment to military service families. Philadelphia's The Berserker Residents will present the New York Premiere of THE ANNIHILATION POINT, a sci-fi comedy by Tim Sawicki. Fresh from its sold-out run at the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival, Gregg Greenberg's comedy-drama CLEMENZA & TESSIO ARE DEAD returns with a look at mob life from the bottom up. Starring Frank Senger*, Anthony Gallo and Troy Dane*, this tale of two men's attempts to climb the criminal corporate ladder begins performances December 2nd at the Shell Theater, at 300 West 43rd Street. The show is directed by Frank Senger and produced by Gregg Greenberg. The production is an Equity Showcase.

London's Royal Court Theatre dominated the nominations for the 2010 Evening Standard Awards, receiving 11 nominations, the most of any London theatre. The Royal Court further cemented its reputation as the writers' theatre, claiming every nomination in both the Best Play and Most Promising Playwright categories. The nominations were spread between six different Royal Court productions.

Aicon Gallery, London is pleased to present Figure/ Landscape Part Two, the second part of our successful New York show. The show features some of India's most prominent modernist painters, all well-known for their explorations of both the figurative and the landscape. Landscape, the figurative and also the figure located in landscape occupy Indian modernist artists signficantly more so than in the European or the North American modernist tradition. In part this is down to a refusal on the part of most artists to commit totally to abstraction, unlike say, their European counterparts. And in part, the continued references to figure and the landscape seem to be a way of asserting a national identity to the modernist experiments Indian artists undertook at the time.

Taking place in Melbourne's cultural heartland, Prahran, The Classic will keep the blood pumping. By day, our interstate guests share the nuts and bolts of their craft. By night, they bring them shining to the stage with Melbourne's best improvisers. It's going to be a classic weekend.
