Although I enjoyed the first Evil Dead film, I thought the sequels were trash. While longing for a world that would stop rehashing the old and create something original, Starz presented a series based on an old franchise. I was skeptical. I'd been burned many times before. I thought, 'This could really suck.' I was wrong.

After my breakup with the dreaded ex, I'd completely sworn off dating, but then I met George. He must've known that I had a weakness for Oscar Wilde and the theatre. So despite being advised against it, I decided to go on my very first date with a zombie.

We survived the eleventh season of GREY'S ANATOMY, and most of us remained relatively unscathed. This, of course, does not include the thousands of supporters of the insane “raise McDreamy from the dead” campaign. If it helps at all, I heard on the radio* this morning that Patrick Dempsey was fired for having an extramarital affair with a cast mate. He must've taken his character a little too seriously; much like many of the fans. Let him go. Full disclosure: I'm still not over T.R. Knight's departure. #Hypocrite.

Can you believe it's already been a year since Derek's death? It feels like two weeks; two weeks and 102,874 supporters of a petition demanding that Shonda Rhimes “Bring Dr. Derek 'McDreamy' Shepherd BACK!!!” Calm. Down. So what's happening to the remaining living members of our meh-inspiring evening drama? A lot, and may I add that a good chunk of it was actually interesting?

Last week featured a Thursday that was 'a beautiful day to save lives.' Well, everyone's life but Derek Shepherd's. After nearly a full 11 seasons of scrubbing in, Patrick Dempsey's character was killed off of the hit ABC show, and the internet exploded.

Slide over Darryl Dixon, because word on the net is “If they kill Derek, we riot.” Now, didn't we just get McDreamy back from his short-lived east coast mistake? Must we dangle that will-he/won't-he-be-around-for-the-rest-of-the-season plot point again?

Attention men who are living apart from their wives in the midst of some ridiculous pseudo marriage: if a strange woman answers your phone when your wife calls, do NOT hop on a plane and fly cross country to see your Mrs. It makes you look suspicious, becomes fuel for gossip, and if your wife is Meredith Grey, it'll lead to her killing a patient (bye bye, Streak). You say, “I came home because we're in trouble.” She hears, “I came home to apologize for having sex with my underling.”

I want to talk about the phone call. I want to dive right into the phone call, but I'll pace myself because someone did their due diligence by putting together this episode and remembering to throw that twist in there at the end. One comment I received via Facebook regarding tonight's episode was a negative one. This person thought that the entire episode was “stupid” except for the implications of the phone call, but I will refrain from launching into that tirade for now. Feel free to skim and/or jump to the end.

After reading last week's recap, I was emailed this food for thought: “Think they'll make Lady Shepherd fail and she'll be tempted by the drugs again? I hope not. We don't need to see that, but Geena Davis doesn't feel like a long term cast member.” So these are the questions that milled around my brain this evening while I allowed GREY'S to give me agita.

Tonight's GREY'S proved that no good can come from spending an afternoon in areas surrounded with trees.

Previews of tonight's episode warned us that heart strings would be pulled. It was a mostly April/Jackson-centric episode; a will he/won't he live plot line regarding their unborn baby. Several hashtags flashed on the bottom of my screen as the show began; one of which read: #TearsOfGreys. I pursed my lips. They weren't pulling punches tonight.

We all deal with bad news in different ways. Some of us shut down. Some of us cry. Some of us dance it out. Some of us gorge on copious amounts of Chipotle and binge on Netflix. We have coping mechanisms that kick in to help us get through the muck and live to see another day; a different day when things are okay. However, today was not the day because as Jackson (Jesse Williams) said, “Everything is not okay.”

I'm prepared to lose friends as I type this, but I'm actually not a huge of Will S. Perhaps attending a Shakespeare camp in my youth would've lead me in a different path, but in the past I'd spend so much time sifting through and interpreting the language, that the overall impact of the story was lost. However, this production seemed covertly aimed at changing my mind.

Tonight Jax and I got suited up for our final ride together. Seven seasons of Mayhem Madness, and despite my severe snark and overall feeling that this was not its best season, I will miss this show

Wendy loved her new digs at Jax's house. It held so many memories for everyone. Imagine yourself there: to your right is where Tara was murdered by her mother in law, and to your left is where Wendy once overdosed; almost killing her unborn baby. Memories!

Abel told on Gemma, Wendy told on Gemma, Juice told on Gemma (you see where this is going?) and then on himself to Gemma, and eventually Jax told on Gemma to everyone who was left.

To deal with Bobby's death, and their own personal demons, everyone found some sort of gratuitous sexual gratification; even Juice and Tully.
