NBC Announces DIAL STAR Web Series With Annalynne McCord

NBC Universal Digital Studio today announced the original web series 'Dial Star' featuring AnnaLynne McCord ('90210,' 'Nip/Tuck'). Developed exclusively for AT&T1 by the NBC Universal Digital Studio and MEC Entertainment, a division of AT&T's media agency MEC, the series will debut in June 2010 at http://www.dialstar.tv/ and will be promoted on www.facebook.com/attshare.

With The Bachelorette and True Beauty, ABC won its 2nd straight Monday night among Adults 18-49 (2.3/7), beating second-place CBS by 21% (1.9/6), third-place Fox by 44% (1.6/5) and fourth-place NBC by 53% (1.5/5). In fact, ABC delivered the #1 position in all 6 half-hours of the evening.

With continuing coverage of the 2010 NBA Finals (Celtics-Lakers Game 5), ABC towered over its competition for the 2nd straight Sunday. Based on Nielsen's preliminary time-period-based 'Fast Affiliate' ratings, ABC outpaced its nearest competition during primetime by 5.3 million viewers (12.8 million vs. 7.5 million - CBS w/'64th Annual Tony Awards') and by 147% in Adults 18-49 (4.8/14 vs. 1.5/5 - Fox). In Adults 18-49, ABC outperformed the combined delivery of CBS, NBC and Fox by 30% on the evening (4.8/14 vs. 3.7/11). It was ABC's 5th consecutive primetime win with coverage of the 2010 NBA Finals.

Lat night's win of four 2010 Tony® Awards for the Broadway hit MEMPHIS, including "Best Musical," was cause for celebration at TheatreWorks, the Silicon Valley theatre company that gave birth to the musical. The show was developed at TheatreWorks' 2002 New Works Festival and received its world premiere in 2004 on TheatreWorks' Mainstage. Since then, MEMPHIS has been working its way to Broadway, where it made its debut last October.
