Haven, Syfy's original series from leading independent producer Entertainment One (eOne), has been renewed for season two. The 13-episode season will commence production on location in Nova Scotia in Spring 2011 with an eye towards a Summer 2011 premiere.

Producing improved year-to-year returns, ABC was up over the same Wednesday last year (10/6/09) by 6% in Total Viewers (7.1 million vs. 6.7 million) and by 9% in Adults 18-49 (2.5/7 vs. 2.3/7). The Net was also up 4% over the prior week among Adults 18-49.

The buddy comedy 'Shake It Up,' television's first dance-driven sitcom, from veteran producers Chris Thompson ('Laverne & Shirley,' 'Bosom Buddies') and Rob Lotterstein ('The War at Home,' 'Ellen'), premieres SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Dinosaurs are coming to life on Nick Jr.'s Dino Dan, a new half-hour preschool series premiering with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 7:00 p.m. (all times ET). The 26-episode series combines live-action with CG-animation to create an adventure-filled modern day world where dinosaurs roam freely - at least in the imagination of the title character, Dan. Following the Oct. 17 premiere, Nick Jr. will air two weeks of brand-new episodes, Monday, Oct. 18 --Thursday, Oct. 21; and Monday, Oct. 25 - Thursday, Oct. 28 at 5:00 p.m. ET. The Dino Dan premiere will be simulcast in full on Nick Mobile and the series will air everyday at 5:00 p.m. ET on Nick Jr. The series is developed and produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment.

Cartoon Network announced today the Season Two premiere of its hit series Adventure Time is slated to air on Monday, October 11th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The original series, which debuted in February of this year, is the highest rated new animated series of 2010 to date with boys 2-11* and received a Primetime Emmy(R) nomination in the category of Outstanding Short-Form Animation Program.

Verizon and the Disney and ESPN Media Networks Group (DEMN) today entered into a long-term, wide-ranging agreement that will continue to provide Verizon customers with the Disney and ESPN services they already receive, as well as future access to new services, including ESPN Goal Line, ESPN 3D, Disney Junior, mobile programming and live online streaming of several ESPN networks.

ESPN 3D will televise No. 2 Ohio State at No. 20 Wisconsin on Oct. 16. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET. This marks the fourth 3D appearance for Ohio State. The Buckeye's were first featured in 3D last year on Sept. 9 and will have had three appearances on the new network in 2010.
