Long known for its live broadcast of America's premier New Year's Day parade, HGTV will join this year's list of participants in the 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade with its own float, a replica of the HGTV Dream Home 2011. Celebrating 15 years of making dreams come true with its HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, the network will highlight the 2011 HGTV Dream Home in a magnificent, mobile floral display in Pasadena. The completed float will make its debut during HGTV's live, commercial-free coverage of the parade on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT. In addition, the network will air a half-hour special, The Building of the HGTV Dream Home Float (w.t.), immediately preceding the parade.

Oxygen Media greenlights new series, 'Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings,' to begin production in October. The eight-episode series follows Oxygen fan favorites Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott as they set out to give couples a once in a lifetime experience. Additionally, the network has renewed the hit series 'Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood' for a sixth season. The announcements were made today by Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media.

During the week of September 27, ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' retained nearly 100% of its Total Viewer audience (1.68 million vs. 1.69 million) and held 94% retention in Adults 18-49 (689,000 vs. 733,000) of its strong premiere week performance. In fact, 'JKL' turned in its 2nd-best weekly numbers in over 3 months - since the week of 6/14/10. In addition, 'JKL' was up in Total Viewers over the same week last year (1.66 million on w/o 9/28/09).

Puccini's classic love story La Bohème returns to the Metropolitan Opera on October 16 for an extended run of performances, starring some of opera's most celebrated young stars in the roles of Mimì and Rodolfo. Franco Zeffirelli's production, an audience favorite since 1981, will be conducted by Roberto Rizzi Brignoli in his Met debut.
