Brett Singer

Brett Singer is an actor, writer, musician and stand-up comic based in New York City. He has appeared at Broadway Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and West Side Comedy Club and other locations throughout Manhattan. As an actor, he appeared in commercials for Blue Man Group and Oscar Health Insurance, on the shows “Evil Lives Here”, “Pandora’s Box” and “A Crime To Remember” (all Discovery ID), and played Curious George author Hans Rey on “Mysteries at the Museum” (Travel Channel). As a freelance writer, he has written for The Daily Beast, AOL (various publications), Babble, The AV ClubForbesWomen, CulturePop, Snakkle, Mom365 and the Boston Phoenix. As a parenting expert for AOL and DaddyTips.com, Brett appeared on CNN HLN, ABC News Now, NPR and Fox News. He plays guitar (and everything else) in the Jewish punk band Electric Menorah, which was featured in the book “Oy Oy Oy Gevalt!” by Michael Croland and has been heard for several years on Soma FM. He is the host of the podcast Comics Who Love Comic Books. Brett is married and has two children.
