The international smash hit musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is set on December 4, 1956, when an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll" who was responsible for launching the careers of each icon, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time. The resulting evening became known as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history.

For Mad Cat Theatre Company's 12th season (that's right 12th), Miami's very own original gangbusters fighting for your right to see new work with a healthy dose of why not attitude theatre company, will be back at The Light Box at the Goldman Warehouse located at 404 NW 26TH Street with an inventive new play Macbeth and the Monster by Angela Berliner which has previously only been seen at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles.

Returning to The Colony's world famous Royal Room for her third engagement and second New Year's Eve celebration is Mary Wilson, a true musical legend. It was a vision of musical stardom as a Detroit teen that inspired her to co-found one of the most successful female singing groups in recording history - The Supremes.

TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni rings in the New Year 2012 directing Company, legendary American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim's musical masterwork about New York marriages. In scene after scene, the audience is introduced to 'those good and crazy people,' lead character Robert's married friends, as he weighs the pros and cons of married life.

The New York Times calls this Les Miserables "an unquestionably spectacular production from start to finish." The London Times hails the new show "a five star hit, astonishingly powerful and as good as the original." The Star-Ledger says 'a dynamically re-imagined hit. Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF (OST) continues its 2011-2012 Signature Series with A Tuna Christmas, playing November 30 - December 30, 2011 at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. In this hilarious sequel to Greater Tuna, the outrageously funny and much loved characters of Tuna, Texas are back just in time for the holiday season.

Jackie is just out of jail and trying to stay clean and sober. He turns to his AA sponsor when he suspects his longtime girlfriend, who is still into drugs, of cheating on him. What proof does he have? A man's hat has been left on the nightstand. This Broadway hit, a fast and furious study of lives in collision, is a bruising and very funny dance of love, betrayal and indecision.

Through its characters, NE 2ND AVENUE brings voice to Miami's marginalized urban populations, exploring underlying issues of racism and social injustice, acknowledging the differences among us and ultimately discovering the common threads that bind us together.

On Wednesday, February 29, 2012, Tony Award winner Roger Rees will perform his one-man show, What You Will in a special appearance at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF. Rees replaces Brian Bedford, who, due to scheduling conflicts, will be unable to perform his one-man show, The Lunatic, The Lover and the Poet, as previously announced.

The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds tells the story of Tillie, a hopeful and focused dreamer who struggles to keep her aspirations alive amidst the chaos of her home-life, controlled by a desperate mother wonting of love and a rebellious sister. Tensions are elevated on the night of the school science fair where Tillie is hoping to be acknowledged for her project on the effect of gamma rays on man-in-the-moon marigolds. First published in 1970, the play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, and the Obie Award for Best American Play.
