A journalism senior at Casper Libero College and a performing arts junior at Celia Helena Theater School. For her artistic career, Andressa took eight years of Ballet classes with teachers like Ricardo Scheir and Neide Rossi, which are well recognized in the Brazilian dancing scenario. She started taking singing lessons in 2011, with Sara Sarres and SauloVasconcelos, two of the most important musical theater artists in Brazil. Andressa also participated in musical theater workshops and joined the cast of the Brazilian version of Rock of Ages as Constance Sack and ensamble in 2013.
As a journalist, she started writing reviews of books and musicals for the college's Arts webpage and contributing as a production, writer, host and sound editor in radio programs for Radio Gazeta AM. Also wrote a story for the college magazine called Esquinas and contributed with reviews for the tourism website Seu Guia SP.
At the end of 2013, Andressa started working for the website of a major magazine in Brazil called Veja, where she remained until December 2014. There she was responsible for many important articles such as the coverage of the water crisis since its inception and the death of the then presidential candidate Eduardo Campos. In early 2015, Andressa began to work as press officer at Instituto Moreira Salles, a cultural institution mainly known for its photography, literature, music and iconography exhibitions. There she remained for four months as she was called for a role at Bloomberg in economic journalism, writing stories in English and in Portuguese.
Related to arts journalism with a focus on theater, Andressa has an Instagram and a Facebook page called Teatro Em 1 Minuto, with videos of up to one minute on theater and musical pieces. Related to literary journalism, Andressa has a YouTube channel called Livros & Pitacos about book reviews and literature issues.
