Orfeo Group, Orfeo Group is planning an ambitious series of programming as an extension of its production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). Beginning at 6:00 PM before every performance of the 'Complete WOWS(a)', Orfeo Group will present a Prelude during which local actors, directors, playwrights and arts groups will showcase their work.

This sexy, awkward, and very funny script envisions a dark future where some humans want to be like the ruling robot class. John Dossett and Tony Award winner Beth Leavel will be joining the cast of the Broadway production of MAMMA MIA!, playing at the Winter Garden Theatre since 2001. Leavel will play Donna Sheridan, while Dossett will star opposite her as Sam Carmichael. The two take over the roles starting September 22.

In 2009, Spoleto Festival USA showcased 125 performances, ranging from the critically acclaimed LOUISE to the U.S. premiere of Kneehigh Theatre's DON JOHN. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Hugh Hughes' STORY OF A RABBIT, Punch Brothers and Jake Shimabukuro were some of the other breakout hits of the 2009 festival.
