Premiere Stages is a professional Equity company. ANY OTHER NAME was the winner of the 2009 Premiere Stages Play Festival.

Kim Nalley, internationally acclaimed vocalist, presents Billie Holiday's songbook in four performances at The Rrazz Room, Hotel Nikko, 222 Mason, SF, from August 20-23. Kim will also perform two late shows with jazz organist Rhoda Scott on Aug 21 and 22. Her 'Heart of Lady Day' shows are at 8 PM, with the Sunday show at 7 PM.

True Colors Cabaret, a new monthly cabaret show, hits Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, 'the nightclub of New York,' starting Monday, September 28. The next show will be Monday, October 26. All of the net proceeds from True Colors Cabaret support the True Colors Fund and Broadway Impact.

The Readers' Ensemble Company (Justin Flagg & Dana Iannuzzi, producers) continues its downtown Manhattan festival of staged readings of rarely performed works. Each piece depicts part of the Recession Cycle: Greed, Collapse, Revolution, and Rebirth. The company's goal is to reintegrate these forgotten masterpieces into the active dialogue on pop-culture and current events. A Q & A follows each performance.

Jazz at The Jungle! 'The Songwriter Series' Part 1 will star Connie Evingson on Saturday, September 20 with two shows. The early show will take place from 4:30-6:30 and the evening show will be held 7:30-9:00. Evingson will be performing songs by Peggy Lee and The Beatles.
