Cyrano's Theatre Company presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee from May 13 - June 26, 2011. Written by Rachel Sheinkin, the show is described as 'a musical comedy hit about spelling...' The show will be directed by Teresa Pond.

Cyrano's Theatre Company presents Becky's New Car from April 8, 2011 to May 1, 2011. Written by Steven Dietz, the show is described as 'a smart, comic cruise through the perils of middle-aged longing and regret is a laugh-out-loud amusement-park ride where the comedy spins out of control like a bumper car. There's more under the hood than just the comedy.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced their plans to stage the premiere of The Heart of Robin Hood. The show will mark the company's first large-scale show for a family audience in their newly renovated Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon. Performances begin November 17, with an opening night scheduled for December 1, 2011. The show will run until January 7, 2012.

Hartford Players Community Theater will be holding auditions for their production of Hello Dolly on March 30 and 31, 2011. The performances are scheduled for July 15 - 23, 2011.
