YUM! at Werkstattbühne, Bregenzer Festspiele

YUM! is an experimental XR music theatre production that blends opera, performance art, and extended reality into an immersive spectacle set in a post-catastrophic world. Composer Wen Liu invites audiences to a decadent dinner where humble jellies transform into glittering gourmet fantasies through an XR app, exploring luxury, scarcity, and digital illusion. Soloists Johanna Rusanen, Emmi Kauppinen, Adrian Autard and Henry Neill perform alongside Ensemble Studio Dan, with stage direction by Carmen C. Kruse. The production won the FEDORA Digital Prize 2025, supported by Kearney.
