Johann Adolf Hasse made ??first career in Italy before 30 years of music at the court of Saxony in Dresden was from 1733. But his opera he presented Siroe still on May 2, 1733 at the Teatro Malvezzi in Bologna. He had composed for the most famous singers of his time: the castrato Farinelli and Caffarelli and the soprano Vittoria Tesi helped the opera to immediate international success, the score reflects their brilliant vocal abilities. The libretto was by hatred friend Pietro Metastasio, the opera's leading poets in Europe. The resulting text was set to music in 1726 out of hatred nor by Georg Friedrich Händel. Family confusion about power greed, love, hate and revenge on the Persian royal court keep the audience in suspense and inspired hatred to one of his most virtuosic compositions: Cosroe King of Persia wants to use his ambitious son Medarse instead of the firstborn Siroe as heir to the throne. Am Hof ??lives as a man dressed Princess Emira whose father has been murdered by Cosroe once, now they want to kill themselves Cosroe. It is also the secret lover Siroes who wants but does not help her with her ??revenge. Meanwhile, the mistress tries Cosroes, Laodice, to seduce Siroe. He rejects it, the injured party then blacken him in Cosroe to - the situation seems hopeless for Siroe. Only the people finally rising in favor of the rightful crown prince and the confusions can be clarified, general pardon leads to a new beginning with Siroe and Emira as Persian royal couple.
