Rigoletto, the first work of "trilogia Popolare" Verdi, from the start was a resounding success: in 1851 premiered in Venice, it brings the great themes of the composer in the foreground: a central ratio of father and daughter, the inexorability of fate, love , revenge and sacrifice, as well as a focused look at the suffering of the social outsider. Unbroken is Rigoletto foothold in the international Spielpla?nen, alone at the Vienna State Opera, the work was so far to experience the 700 times. After more than 30 years - the last premiere of this opera was in 1983 - Rigoletto is now re-released in the house on the ring.
