The 19th Viennese Life ball brings high-caliber star guests to Vienna on the 21st of May. Joining already announced US singer Janet Jackson, the former American President Bill Clinton, actress Brooke Shields, and US singer and "30 Rock" actor Cheyenne Jackson will sing this year's original Life ball song "Ask the Universe"

Gery Keszler , Life Ball's organizer announced details during Monday's press conference in the federal capital. This year's Life ball theme continues he 2008 tradition "Cycle of the Elements - this year's theme, the third element "Air"

President Clinton and UNAIDS Executive Director Michael Sidibe will open the Life Ball Aids Solidarity formal event in the ceremony hall of the Viennese yard castle. This formal event will include 250 exclusive guests, a live auction. Brooke Shields will present an award honoring leaders in the HIV / AIDS communities.

Musical performances will include; Cheyenne Jackson, star violinists Nigel Kennedy, and Natasha Bedingfield, honoring the music of Hollywood film composer Klaus Badelt ("curse of the Caribbean"). Additional Austrian artists such as Lukas Plöchl, Eddie Cole, Rounder Girls, Dorretta Carter are scheduled to perform.
