Based on Roald Dahl's beloved novel, the Royal Shakespeare Company's production tells the story of an extraordinary young girl with an astonishing imagination, a brilliant mind and an unbreakable spirit who dares to stand up to injustice. Written by Dennis Kelly with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the musical has won 101 international awards and been seen by more than 13 million people worldwide. The production will open at Melbourne's Princess Theatre before travelling to the Sydney Lyric and QPAC's Lyric Theatre in Brisbane.
