Arts Centre Melbourne’s State Theatre MORNING MELODIES Welcomes Eddie Perfect, July 26 & 27

After a successful first half of the year in Arts Centre Melbourne's State Theatre, the Morning Melodies concert series returns to its home in the newly refurbished Hamer Hall. Morning Melodies will be welcomed back into the new Hamer Hall by the musical brilliance of Orchestra Victoria, Victorian Opera and Kane Alexander and many more.

Eddie Perfect, who will sing open the new Hamer Hall with k.d. lang on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 July as part of the new Hamer Hall Opening Concerts, will also host the final Morning Melodies concerts, Christmas Melodies. A local hero of musical theatre, Perfect's stage credits include Shane Warne The Musical, which he wrote and starred in, and is currently a lead in Network 10's Offspring.

Since starting at Arts Centre Melbourne nearly 28 years ago, Morning Melodies has gone from strength to strength and has been replicated in arts centres right across Australia. Highly popular with its audience, Morning Melodies brings people together 10 times a year for musical variety at its best, with great shows from Australia's top performers and premier performing arts companies.
