THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG is certainly a play that seems intriguing just by the title. "The Murder at Havernesh Manor" is the title of the play within the play that can't seem to stay on script. It seems that everything and anything goes wrong. This sets in motion so many mishaps, the audiences can't stop laughing from start to finish. Ned Noyes has enjoyed being part of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG from Broadway to the tour. BWW had a chance to chat with Ned as the show heads to Austin, Texas and the Bass Concert Hall.
The Filigree Theatre Presents The Closing Weekend Of MISS JULIE

The Filigree Theatre, Austin's independent, women-led theatre company, will close out the first show of its 2018-19 slate with the final three performances of MISS JULIE. Starring Shonagh Smith ("Julie"), Brennan Patrick ("Jean") and Diana Rose ("Kristine"), August Strindberg's classic play is directed by Elizabeth V. Newman and produced by Stephanie Moore. The third and final weekend of the show run Thursday, October 18 - Saturday, October 20 at The Mastrogeorge Theatre (130 Pedernales St.) in Austin, TX. Ground Floor Theatre is proud to announce the cast for Fun Homerunning December 5-22, 2018. One of the most groundbreaking productions ever to hit Broadway, Fun Home is the winner of five 2015 Tony Awards including Best Musical. Based on Alison Bechdel's best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home features music by Jeanine Tesori, book and lyrics by Lisa Kron. As the first theatre in Austin to produce the Tony Award winning musical, Ground Floor Theatre has cast Sandra Mae Frank as Joan, Broadway veteran (Spring Awakening) and a deaf actress, integrating American Sign Language into this musical.

Texas Performing Arts Presents BLACKSTAR At Bass Concert Hall

Cello soloist Maya Beiser joins composer/conductor Evan Ziporyn and his Ambient Orchestra to perform Bowie Symphonic: Blackstar, a startling and soaring new version of David Bowie's entire last album Blackstar for solo cello and orchestra. Arranged for Beiser by Ziporyn, who will also conduct Ambient Orchestra, Bowie Symphonic: Blackstar has been performed to capacity audiences in Boston, Barcelona, and New York City's Central Park SummerStage. For this performance, Ambient Orchestra is joined by musicians from Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

George Lopez's multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television. Lopez is currently on a solo standup comedy tour, The Wall World Tour, coming to the Bass Concert Hall on January 19, as well as a group tour, The Comedy Get Down, starring himself, Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley & Cedric 'The Entertainer'. The four The Comedy Get Down comedians also recently wrapped a BET scripted comedy series based on their tour. Lopez will star on A&E's "Very Superstitious With George Lopez" that began airing in April.
