TexARTS Presents The UNEXPECTED GUEST The TexARTS Professional Series presents The Unexpected Guest, an Agatha Christie thriller. The Unexpected Guest plays October 19 - October 28, 2018 at the Kam & James Morris Theatre in Lakeway.

Lost in the fog, a stranger seeks refuge in a nearby house only to find a man shot dead and his wife standing over him with a smoking gun. The wife's dazed confession is anything but convincing and the unexpected guest decides to help concoct her cover story. As they plot, a tangled web of lies reveals family secrets and chilling motives. It is a classic Agatha Christie whodunit, keeping tension high until the very end.

The cast features Aaron Black, Mary Agen Cox, Jeff Jeffers, Tyler Keyes, Brandon Lindsey, Carson Petocz, Sarah Fleming Walker, J. Ben Wolfe and Val Williams.

TexARTS is excited to welcome J. Robert Moore as director. Moore comes to TexARTS after having directed All Shook Up at Zilker Park this past summer.

The creative team includes Jessica Colley-Michell (scenic design), Benjamin Taylor Ridgeway (costume design), Rachel Atkinson (light design), Jeff Miller (sound design) and Maria Neff (stage manager).

Single tickets start at $43. Single tickets are available by calling TexARTS Box Office at 512-852-9079 x101 or at www.tex-arts.org. All ages are welcome and parking is free. Group rates are available.
