Photo Flash: First Look at Inge's American Classic BUS STOP at The City Theatre

By:

The City Theatre kicks off its 2016 spring season with William Inge's American classic BUS STOP. The show runs three more weeks at The City Theatre, March 17 - April 3, 2016, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the castin action below!

BUS STOP is William Inge's American classic where eight snowbound strangers stranded at a Midwest diner get a full serving of love, longing and loneliness. Cherie's a hard-up nightclub singer. Bo's a good ol' cowboy. And when a bus leaves them stranded somewhere between Topeka and Kansas City, they spend the night discovering truths and uncovering lies. Of course, it all comes with a warm side of romance and laughter, and the ageless pursuit of honesty, personal desire, and companionship, for all of the weary travelers, is the soup du jour.

BUS STOP continues March 17 - April 3, playing Thursday - Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm at The City Theatre, 3823 Airport Blvd. Suite D. 78722. General Seating $15. Front/2nd Row Reserved $20-25. Thursday all seats $10. Tickets at the door $20. Group and student discounts. For reservations, call 512-524-2870, e-mail info@citytheatreaustin.org, or visit www.citytheatreaustin.org.
