American Stage presents Katori Hall's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which explores a pivotal moment in history: the night before Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination. Set in Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, the play follows Dr. King, portrayed by Brandon Burditt, as he engages with Camae, a hotel maid played by Kayland Jordan. As their conversation unfolds, Dr. King confronts his legacy, fears, and hopes for the future. Directed by Keith Arthur Bolden, this production runs from November 6 to November 24.
