(11/15/2017) - Atlanta's Capitol City Opera will launch its 2017-18 season on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 at 8 p.m. with Rising Stars, a new staged concert format designed to highlight more than a dozen of the Atlanta-area's most promising young voices. All of the singers are based in Atlanta, and are exceptional talents pursuing a career in singing.

(08/14/2017) - Rehearsals are underway for Alliance Theatre's upcoming production of Shakespeare in Love, based on the 1998 film that won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture. Georgia Shakespeare co-founder and Artistic Director Richard Garner is directing this love letter to William Shakespeare in his company's former home at Oglethorpe University's Conant Performing Arts Center while the Alliance Theatre undergoes a complete renovation.
