High School Seniors do you have the grades for college, but not the finances? Parents are you financially prepared to send your graduates to college? Tommy Ford in association with the Infinite Scholars cordially invites high school students and their families to a "FREE" scholarship fair sponsored by the Infinite Scholars Program. This mega event will be held on February 23, 2016 in the gymnasium of Ronald E. McNair High School (1804 Bouldercrest Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30316). "This is a great opportunity for college bound high school students and their parents to meet with college representatives about scholarship opportunities," said Mr. Thomas Ousley Founder of Infinite Scholars. Ford says, "Last year we had over 700 Students and Parents representing schools within DeKalb County and the Atlanta Metro area (including Technical Centers and Charter Schools). These attendees met with over 45 College and University Admission Representatives, resulting in over $5,000,000.00 in financial awards given ('Full and Partial' Scholarships)." He continues, "Many graduating seniors I have spoken to via programs I am personally involved in say, they want to go to college. However, their parents can't afford to send them, and there is not enough funding from schools, state or local governments programs. The ISP is a great way to fill in the financial gaps." The ISP hosts representatives from colleges and universities who are prepared to talk with students about scholarship opportunities at their schools. Many students receive scholarship offers on the spot. Over 40 participating colleges will be in attendance including: HBCUs, public and private institutions, military service academies, and technical colleges. Students are asked to bring multiple copies of their unofficial high school transcript, test scores (ACT/SAT), two letters of recommendation, student resume, and an essay on why they want to attend college. The 2016 ISP Fair is being sponsored in partnership with: Moholea, Region 5 of the DeKalb County School District, U.S. Congressman Hank Johnson's Office, Tommy Ford (T. Ford Models Productions), The Hank Stewart Foundation, Hard Money of America-Inc., Lyn Rodgers and Associates, The Leadership Team, MOHELA and the U.S. Army ROTC. Be An Infinite Scholar . . . The Possibilities are
Infinite.
