StandUp NBC Returns to Atlanta
STANDUP NBC is a nationwide talent search for comedians of diverse backgrounds. The origin behind NBC's Stand Up for Diversity was to give traditionally underrepresented groups a chance to showcase their talents. However, at it's foundation, StandUp NBC is about more than just a variance of physical attributes or gender, but rather a showcase for a diversity in voice, point of view, and perspective. They are looking for any and all types of people who have something different to say, can share a unique cultural experience or put a new spin on a familiar one!
Winners of StandUp NBC are flown to LA for the year end finals and winners are offered an NBC Talent Holding Deal!
Alumni include: Lil Rel Howery (Get Out, Carmichael Show), Ron Funches (Powerless, Undateable), Hannibal Buress (Broad City, 30 Rock, Neighbors, SNL), ERIC ANDRE (Two Broke Girls, Man Seeking Woman), and Deon Cole (Conan, Black-ish).
