Stage Door Players' ROUNDING THIRD Opens Today

STAGE DOOR PLAYERS present Rounding Third, by Richard Dresser, directed by James Donadio. The show opens today, March 20, 8pm curtain, and runs through April 12. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm EXCEPT there will be no Sunday Matinee on Easter Sunday, April 5. Don (Robin Blooworth) is the tough, blue-collar, win-at-all-costs veteran Little League coach whose son is the star pitcher. Michael (Vince Pisani) is a newcomer-both to the town and to baseball-who agrees to be Don's assistant because he wants a special activity with his son. Follow the tumultuous journey of these men and their differences about leading the team through an entire season-from their first tentative meeting to the climactic championship game.
