Just in time for the spookiest time of year, Serenbe Playhouse will be presenting The Sleepy Hollow Experience. Adapated from the classic Washington Irving American folk tale, this cross between theatrical production and interactive haunted house will take place in the majestic Serenbe Stables. This production promises chills, thrills and a few laughs; all coming together for an interactive evening of entertainment that will make you want to leave the lights on at night, and checking every corner for the dreaded Headless Horseman!

Director Brian Clowdus, Executive/Found Artistic Director of Serenbe Playhouse, comes hot of the heels of Serenbe Playhouse's most successful summer season to date. Record breaking attendance, a driving dedication to perform rain or shine, and breaking down new artistic boundries puncuated some of Altanta's most critically acclaimed productions in recent history. The Sleepy Hollow Experience is in line to become the talk of the Atlanta theatre scene this autumn, with the highest percentage of ticket presales in the history of Serenbe Playhouse!

"We are using the success of our summer to propel us into our first fully fledged fall production: The Sleepy Hollow Experience," says Clowdus." As with any playhouse production you will not find yourself within the walls of a theatre but will be fully immersed. The Stables serves as our playground and you will find yourself being guided through by roving storytellers throughout the entirety of the space. We are using the classic story but breathing new life or shall we say death into our concept. Be prepared to be scared beyond belief as you find yourself feeling trapped at times and constantly looking over your shoulder to see the Woman in White or the Headless Horseman breathing down your neck and gone the next minute. It will truly be an experience and journey you will not forget."

For those looking for an extra dose of fright and fun, a special Halloween Monster Mash party will take place on Halloween night, October 31st , imediately following the performance of The Sleepy Hollow Experience. Attendees can expect a bonfire, costume contest, tricks and treats, music and dancing, specilty cocktails and a chance to mingle with the cast and creative team of The Sleepy Hollow Experience. Additionally, Serenbe Playhouse will be annoucing it's 5th Season of shows, slated to begin in 2014. This special event is stricktly 21+.
