Push Push Theater Presents ZOO STORY and BREMEN FREEDOM

By:

Push Push Theatre will present Edward Albee's ZOO STORY Fridays and Saturdays from February 19 through February 27th and a performance Monday February 15 at 10 PM.

Peter is a middle-class publishing executive with a wife, two daughters, two cats and two parakeets who lives in ignorance of the world outside his settled life. Jerry is an isolated and disheartened man who lives in a boarding house and is very troubled. They meet on a park bench. Ironic humor and unrelenting dramatic suspense are brought to a climax when Jerry brings his victim down to his own savage level. Featuring Charlie Adair and Tim Habeger as part of our dark night Masterpiece Series. Additional collaborators include Alex Vann and Priscilla Smith. Runtime is 60 minutes.

Next,on February 24 at 8PM and March 2, 3, 9, 10, 11, and 12 Push Push Theatre will play Rainer-Werner Fassbinder's BREMEN FREEDOM.

"A Cup of coffee, Geesche, please... just a touch." With this demand starts the nightmare of Geesche's nearest and dearest. Between the cruel and selfish behavior, she becomes a demon and a messiah at the same time. Her wish is freedom and love, but can it be found in loneliness? What part of love lets somebody go? Based on a true story, BREMEN FREEDOM is for mature audiences only and will run 70 minutes.

Also, Lisa Kron's 101 HUMILIATING STORIES will continue to run at the theatre through February 27.
