Pinch 'n' Ouch Theatre's latest production of "Girls Life" is a raucous comedy by the company's critically acclaimed Artistic Director Grant McGowen, about finding love in today's big cities. The new play will feature more than a handful of Atlanta's brightest young talents and will open this September, under the direction of Michelle Pokopac and McGowen.

McGowen's most recent playwright credit, "Wall Street Wedding," was named "Best World Premiere" by Arts Atl in 2014. The show was also noted as the company's most successful play to date, since their arrival in 2010. McGowen's plays are known to challenge audiences with important contemporary issues such as social equity, gender equality, self-image, censorship and stigma. He most recently directed Quiara Alegria Hudes' Pulitzer Prize winning drama "Water By the Spoonful" and starred in Annie Baker's "The Aliens" last fall.

McGowen welcomes back actor Jackie Costello, who has already starred in numerous productions at PNO, including "Pizza Man," "Some Girls," "Speed the Plow," and "Wall Street Wedding." Joining Costello is former "Wall Street Wedding" cast mates, Christie Vozniak and Brian Ashton Smith. Among them, Alyx Libby, Omer Mughal, Alexa Staudt, Alex Frazier, Mala Bhattacharya-Dilley, Candace Kitchens, Rylee Bunton, Diana Riley, & Pedro Ferreira. "Girls Life" will also feature video projection by Casey Williams.

McGowen says his latest play "Girls Life" is "somewhat a coming-of-age" inspired by the works from some of his favorite contemporary playwrights. "I was interested in millennial relationships, and how wild things can get. It should be a healthy reminder of how human we all are."

Audiences should expect "Girls Life" to fit within the company's typical fashion of plays that are considered "now-theatre" and feature powerful, intimate performances by actors, with plenty of f-bombs to go along.

"Girls Life" by Grant McGowen is a world premiere that opens September 15 and runs through October 23, 2016. Performances are Thursday - Saturday at 8pm. For tickets: www.girlslifeplay.com of visit the company's page: www.pnotheatre.org
