Out of Box Theatre to Present OTHER DESERT CITIES

Conservative parents and their liberal children face off in Jon Robin Baitz's (ABC's Brothers & Sisters) thrilling drama Other Desert Cities - a Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award-nominated "Best New Play on Broadway" (New York Times). Out of Box Theatre presents the Atlanta premiere of the play that opens up the closed doors so the whole world can see what's happening behind them.
Brooke Wyeth arrives at her parents' Palm Springs mansion on Christmas Eve with a bomb to drop; she's written a tell-all memoir that dredges up the very past they've worked so hard to conceal. She threatens to tear her family apart with a secret that has the potential to ruin their powerful, presitigious Republican dynasty. Desperate to keep the past at bay, Lyman and Polly Wyeth seek to dissuade their daughter from releasing her book so they can maintain their prized public appearance. Other Desert Cities at Out of Box Theatre is directed by Kirk Harris Seaman and features Amanda Cucher, Rial Ellsworth, Carolyn Choe, Rose Bianco, and Matt Busch. Other Desert Cities runs Sept 11 through 26, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8PM and Sunday matinees at 3PM.
