Newnan Community Theatre Company Cancels Auditions For MISERY
By: Gabrielle Sierra
Auditions for Misery by Stephen King, adapted for the stage by Simon Moore, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, August 24 and 25 at the Newnan Community Theatre Company have been canceled.
The theatre has learned from Samuel French, the licensing company for the play, that the rights have been frozen. This means no theatre is able to put on the show at this time. This is due to the fact that a Broadway revival of the play is in the works.
The theatre is looking into alternatives for their November season show and details will be announced when they become available.
For more information about the theatre, visit their website at newnantheatre.org or call the theatre at (770) 683-6282.
