ArtsBridge Foundation invites you to share some magic, music and even a trip to the moon with your students and children when you book Field Trips, Master Classes and Family Series performances. With subjects ranging from music and science, to theatre and dance, there is something for everyone. These high-quality, cultural and educational performances are presented by nationally and internationally renowned dancers, singers and artists, and are geared towards various grade levels from K-12. ArtsBridge Foundation's programs take place at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339.

"We are delighted to present inspiring educational arts programming for students of all ages," states Sarah Clay Lindvall, Director of Arts Education and Community Outreach at ArtsBridge Foundation. "Our Field Trips are tied to curriculum and are available for public school and private school groups as well as homeschoolers. Our new Family Series shows are geared towards first-time theatre-goers, so they are a great way to introduce young children to live performances. And Master Classes provide unique opportunities for professional development in a variety of disciplines."

Musical Theatre Vocal Technique in the style of Love Never Dies (Master Class) - December 2 at 10 am

This exciting Musical Theatre Vocal Technique class will be taught by a cast member of the touring production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies. The class will end with an informative "Behind-the-Scenes" Q & A. Appropriate for grades 6-12.

Musical Theatre Dance in the Style of The Lion King (Master Class) - January 20 at 10 am

This inspiring Musical Theatre Dance class will be taught by a cast member of the touring production of The Lion King. The class includes a warm-up, combinations in the show's style of choreography, and an informative "Behind-the-Scenes" Q & A. Appropriate for grades 6-12.

The Jason Bishop Show (Family Series) - January 21 at 3 pm

From his breathtaking Double Levitation to his cutting-edge Op-Art and Plasma illusions, Jason Bishop features stunning & original state of the art magic. One thing that distinguishes Bishop is his virtuosity. Each show features award winning sleight of hand, grand illusions and close-up magic projected onto a large movie screen. The show is set to an outstanding rock & pop soundtrack. Appropriate for all ages.

Beauty & the Beast presented by Atlanta Ballet 2 (Field Trip) - February 8 at 11 am

Fall in love with this celebrated fairy tale all over again with a one-hour production designed for our younger audience members, children ages 12 and under. They will be mesmerized by this enchanting tale of adventure, unlikely friendships, and the power of true love. Appropriate for grades K - 6.

Daughter of the Regiment presented by The Atlanta Opera (Field Trip) - March 1 at 11 am

Action, romance, comedy, and enough high notes to fill the Swiss Alps are threaded through highlights of Donizetti's opera to create a Student Short, a fully-staged, abbreviated version of the mainstage opera production. Marie, a high-spirited tomboy was orphaned as a baby and raised by a French Army regiment. When information about her identity surfaces, will she join society with a "proper" marriage or follow her heart back to the Regiment and her peasant class love? Appropriate for grades 6-12.

Musical Theatre Performance in the style of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder (Master Class)- March 17 at 10 am

This Musical Theatre Performance dance class will be taught by a cast member of the touring production of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder. The class includes a warm-up, combinations in the show's style of choreography, and will end with an informative "Behind-the-Scenes" Q & A. Appropriate for grades 6-12.

Synergy presented by Kennesaw State's College of the Arts (Field Trip) - March 21 at 11 am

Experience a truly comprehensive artistic fusion of dance, music, theatre, and art. Synergy will feature the KSU Dance Company, Orchestra, Choir, Musical Theatre Ensemble and Visual Arts collaborating to give school students a unique arts experience. Packed with energy, creativity and virtuosity, this is a FREE event that will provide a cross-disciplinary understanding of the arts. Appropriate for grades 6-12.

Moon Mouse: A Space Odyssey (Field Trip) - March 27 at 10:15 am and Noon

Marvin the Mouse wants to be popular. Constantly bullied and picked on by the "cool" rats, he is labeled a loser and geek. Marvin retreats into his science books and a world of fantasy. He longs to be the hero. Join Marvin on the space adventure of a lifetime: a trip to the surface of the moon on his homemade rocket where he meets a cast of misfit creatures, learns of infinite peril, and views awesome beauty. Lightwire Theater presents Moon Mouse, a cosmic adventure about celebrating differences. Appropriate for grades K-5.
