Audience members lucky enough to purchase tickets to The Legacy Theatre's production of My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra will know they have entered Frank's world as soon as they step into the theatre. The stage has been completely transformed into an elegant nightclub, one that Ol' Blue Eyes himself might have performed in during his long and illustrious tenure as one of America's most beloved crooners. Those thinking they will see a Frank Sinatra impersonator on stage will be disappointed, however, and audience members thinking the show will only feature canned recordings from the Chairman of the Board will be in for a treat. The creators of My Way have put together an evening of theatre that pays tribute to the life of a man who recorded over 1,300 songs by utilizing four incredibly talented singers as well as live musicians, all committed to taking the audience on a journey through Frank's world. All your favorite songs are featured in this show, packaged in exciting medleys that deal with everything from Sinatra's favorite tunes, to the cities that he loved, and even Broadway. There is even a medley of songs devoted entirely to the moon!

The Four Singers and dancers represent the fantastic talent that Legacy has come to offer the south side of Atlanta for the past four years. Charlie Bradshaw is an award winning singer from Alpharetta whose soaring vocals capture not only the tenderness of "Young At Heart" but also the excitement and uncontainable energy of "That's Life." Larry Cox, Jr., originally from Pennsylvania, is a new, fresh face for Atlanta's theatre goers. Larry makes his Atlanta premier at The Legacy, and what an exciting premier it is! Larry is a true ladies man and charmer, and there is no doubt the females in the audience will swoon as he croons through such classics as "One for My Baby" and "Witchcraft." Those who frequent the Legacy Theatre will instantly recognize Melissa Vazquez Cartwright, who starred in the premiere production at the Legacy, A Christmas Survival Guide, and who also starred as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Melissa's sultry and expressive voice is featured in the moody ballad, "My Funny Valentine", but her winning smile and charm is truly evident on songs like "I Get A Kick Out of You" and "That Old Black Magic." Another newcomer to the Legacy stage is the multi-talented Christina Haak. Having just moved to the Atlanta area from upstate New York, Christina is evidently adept at the jazz style that is the signature of Sinatra's vocal styling. Her vivacious energy and incredible vocals shine in "All the Way" and "The Best is Yet to Come."

Audiences all over Atlanta will truly be disappointed if they miss this one-of-a-kind evening at The Legacy Theatre. Just like past productions of Some Enchanted Evening and Smoke on the Mountain, Legacy's January and February show is always oNe You'll talk about for the rest of the year. My Way runs from January 22 through February 14, and dinner and show packages are available. Call the box office at (404) 895-1473 to reserve your tickets or find out more on the web at www.thelegacytheatre.org.
