LADY PENELOPE IN QUARANTINE! To Play Atlanta Fringe Festival
Penny Peyser's one-woman show arrives following sold-out runs at Hollywood Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe.
Penny Peyser will bring her one-woman show LADY PENELOPE IN QUARANTINE! to this year's Atlanta Fringe Festival. The production will play multiple performances at the Supermarket Black Box in Atlanta.
Written and performed by Peyser, whose screen credits include The In-Laws, All the President's Men, The Frisco Kid, Knots Landing, Shameless, and NCIS, the play centers on Lady Penelope, a woman who has embraced an extended COVID quarantine until a voicemail from her son forces her to confront unresolved personal issues.
The production features original songs and is directed and produced by Matthew Leavitt and Liza Seneca, co-artistic directors of The 6th Act theater company. Additional producing is by Doug McIntyre, whose television credits include Married... with Children, WKRP in Cincinnati, and Full House.
Performances will take place at Supermarket Black Box, located at 638 N. Highland Ave NE in Atlanta.
