Georgia Shakespeare Announces October Events

Georgia Shakespeare will present two productions throughout October, as well as two special events. The theatre will feature performances of JULIUS CAESAR and A BACCHUS AFFAIR, as well as A Roman Holiday Wine Dinner and a Fall Festival on October 31st. In addition, fall classes for students age 10-18 will begin October 17th.

The scheduled line is as follows:

JULIUS CAESAR - Oct. 8 - Nov. 1
The "dogs of war" are unleashed in Shakespeare's historic tale of political intrigue, conspiracy and revolution. Don't miss Georgia Shakespeare's award-winning company in this powerful production directed by Producing Artistic Director Richard Garner.

A BACCHUS AFFAIR - Oct. 23
Mix-and-mingle with young professionals at this casual, fun, pre-show party featuring great food, wine and company. Your ticket includes the reception and a discounted ticket to Julius Caesar.

A Roman HolidayWine Dinner - Oct. 12
Georgia Shakespeare celebrates JULIUS CAESAR with an Italian-themed wine dinner hosted by Terra Terroir. PLUS, guests receive a sneak peek at our 25th Anniversary Season including musical selections from Shrew: The Musical performed by Associate Artists Chris Kayser, Allen O'Reilly and Courtney Patterson.

Fall Festival - Oct. 31
Calling all ghosts, princesses, goblins and ghouls! Join Georgia Shakespeare for our first Fall Festival and add some theatrical magic to your Halloween. This family-friendly party features face and pumpkin painting, costume contests, blood making demos, door prizes, and spine-tingling-behind-the-scenes-ghost stories, told by the Will Power Ensemble!
