Emory College to Host 2013 Creativity & Arts Soiree, 9/6

By:

The Emory College Center for Creativity & Arts hosts the sixth annual Creativity & Arts Soiree Friday, September 6 at 6:00 p.m. in Emory's Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. The event will kick off the 2013-2014 Arts at Emory season with presentations spanning from dance performances and readings to design installations and music concerts.

Soiree entertainments conclude this year with the presentation of the fourth annual Creativity & Arts Awards, recognizing Emory and metro-Atlanta community members who have made significant artistic and administrative contributions to the arts in Atlanta. The awards presentation begins at 6:30 in the Chace Upper Lobby of the Schwartz Center. Friends of the Arts at Emory are invited to wine and light refreshments before the ceremony.

Nominations for Creativity & Arts Awards are being accepted online until Friday, August 16th at 5 p.m.

The Center for Creativity & Arts enriches the lives and intellectual work of students, faculty, staff, and the larger Atlanta community and works to shape a creative campus that ignites the imaginative spark within us all.
