Atlanta Fringe Festival Submission Deadline Set for 1/15
The deadline approaches for submission to second annual edition of The Atlanta Fringe Festival,running June 5-9, 2013, at locations throughout downtown and East Atlanta. Artists interested in participating in the Fringe Festival or Fringe Radio have until Tuesday, January 15 to send in their proposals via the AFF website:www.atlantafringe.org. Applications for the Fringe Festival are $25, with productions selected randomly via lottery. Applications for Fringe Radio are $15, with 25 slots available on a first come, first served basis.
Big announcements call for big celebrations, so the Atlanta Fringe will be pulling out all the stops with a Prohibition-themed Reveal Party, February 2 at Ambient + Studio, featuring live music by Mercury Orkestar and Black Sheep Ensemble. The selected artists and venues will be announced throughout the evening while the audience enjoys DJ's, live performances and a signature "Bees Knees" cocktail, courtesy of Cathead Vodka. Doors open at 8PM; admission is $15 with the secret password (it is a speakeasy, after all) and free gift for anyone strutting their Roaring 20's stuff in costume.
