ArtsBridge Hosted First Prelude Fundraising Event At Cobb Energy Centre ArtsBridge Foundation hosted their very first Prelude fundraising event at Cobb Energy Centre on March 3. The evening included a cocktail reception featuring fabulous hors d'oeuvres by Executive Chef Nicholas Walker, tickets to Audra McDonald's one woman show and an exclusive meet and greet and photo opportunity with the Tony Award winner after her performance.

Audra McDonald is a record-breaking winner of six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, and a 2015 National Medal of Arts. She's also well-known for her role on the popular ABC television series, Private Practice. As a classical soprano she's sung with orchestras all over the world from the Los Angeles Opera to the Berlin Philharmonic.

"We had a wonderful evening and raised money for our adopt-a-school program," stated Jennifer D. Dobbs, Executive Director at ArtsBridge Foundation. "We were thrilled that Ms. McDonald could join us, and that nearly 100 arts patrons supported our important mission of sharing the gift of arts education with area students."

Guests included: Michele Swann, CEO & General Manager of the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority; Joanne Truffelman and Ronny Pepper; Clare Richardson; Jimmy and Helen S. Carlos; Jan Collins; Dr. Joseph Woodruff, Cobb County School District Supervisor K-12, Music, Theatre & Dance; Jayme Alilaw, Opera Singer; and ArtsBridge program students Shea Jones, Matthew Aronin and Kinsey Olee.
