Actor's Express to Present Go-Go's Broadway Musical HEAD OVER HEELS
![]()
Actor's Express presents the outrageous musical Head Over Heels, featuring the songs of The Go-Go's, July 20 - August 25, 2019. Directed by Artistic Director Freddie Ashley, Actor's Express will stage one of the first post-Broadway productions of this bold new musical comedy. "It's hard to imagine what we need right now more than joy. And that's what you get with Head Over Heels - pure, gleeful, unabashed joy," Ashley says. "It's one of the funniest musicals I've ever seen on Broadway and the infectious music of The Go-Go's is the perfect complement to James Magruder's razor-sharp script. You won't be able to stop smiling."
A wildly entertaining celebration of love, the Broadway production made history with the first openly trans actor to originate a principal role on Broadway (RuPaul's Drag Race fan favorite Peppermint). Actor's Express will continue the show's tradition of inclusive casting.
Performances are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets start at $35 and may be purchased online at actors-express.com or by calling 404-607-7469.
