The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will open the fourth season at its summer home, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park, with a Fourth of July celebration on Monday, July 4, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., with guest conductor Rob Fisher leading the Orchestra and U.S. Army Chorus in an All-American Celebration of patriotic sing-alongs and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The 94th Airlift Wing Dobbins Base Honor Guard will also join the Orchestra at the beginning of the concert to Present the Colors.

Concertgoers will be given mini-American flags, and the evening will conclude with a post-concert finale featuring fireworks produced by Pyrotecnico. Throughout the 2011 summer season the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will play three other concerts at the Amphitheatre: on Friday, July 15, 2011, at 8:30 p.m., the Orchestra will perform the fourth Atlanta Symphony-Turner Classic Movies collaboration, with Staff Conductor Jere Flint leading the Orchestra in the music from the classic film Casablanca, and Ben Mankiewicz as host; on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., Principal Pops Conductor Michael Krajewski will lead the Orchestra in "Cirque de la
Symphonie," which combines world-class acrobatics and artistry with classical masterpieces and
memorable contemporary music; on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., the Orchestra, led by Mr. Krajewski, will close its summer season collaborating on stage with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park is a not-for-profit performance venue owned and
operated by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

The Amphitheatre Experience
Each Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park offers
table-seating in the main Orchestra section of the venue, reserved seating throughout the pavilion, and lawn seating. Complementing this seating variation is an experience influenced by the repertoire and theme of the Orchestra: Live on-site broadcasts, themed cuisine, and affordable family four-packs allow audiences to create their own unique evening of enjoyment at the Orchestra's summer home.

Live On-Site Broadcast and Text-Message Questions from Audience The Atlanta Symphony continues the tradition of introducing members of the Atlanta Symphony to the audience with an evening-long live, on-site broadcast of the concert on large 15′x20′ screens, which are
permanently affixed on either side of the stage. The live feed will include a pre-concert show, as well as live intermission interviews of guest artists and musicians from the Orchestra, fueled by text-message questions sent by the audience the night of the concert.

Family Four Packs
For all 2011 Orchestra concerts, family four-pack ticket packages are available, which include: four tickets for lawn ($60) or four tickets for pavilion seating ($80), four food baskets, four lawn chair rentals, and one parking pass...

Themed Cuisine
Ovations, the on-site caterer for Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, will offer themed cuisine to
complement the programming of all Orchestra concerts at the Amphitheatre. Concertgoers may preorder a picnic basket (which serves two people), or enjoy themed specialty items from the concessions.

Those with box seating and/or admission to the Nalley Cars VIP Club may choose to enjoy the
separate themed-menu available in the Club for Atlanta Symphony performances.
As an example, during the 2010 summer season, "Wizard of Oz"-themed cuisine accompanied the
regular fare offered at the venue for a Turner Classic Movie night. Concertgoers pre-ordered a $30
Tote for Two, a specially prepared dinner featuring Tornado Twist - mini tornado twist stuffed with
green olives and blue cheese; Ruby Slippers Sliders - poppy-seed fresh rolls stuffed with turkey and Swiss with rainbow slaw; and Magic Wands - white chocolate-dipped pretzels with magic sprinkles.

Concertgoers not purchasing the "Tote for Two" were be able to enjoy a "stand special" of The Lollipop Guild's giant lollipop, which was available at concessions the night of the concert.
This year, concertgoers will be able to pre-order a picnic basket and view the full menu available for each concert, via the General Info/Food and Beverage section online at vzwamp.com.
