Woody Allen's 2003 play RIVERSIDE DRIVE will receive a production in Moscow on Thursday and Friday, July 29-30.

The play centers on sex, money, and New York in a "funny, intellectual, absurd, just Woody Allen" manner. According to the RIVERSIDE DRIVE website, "A present-day person doesn't have tomorrow. Getting success and recognition, financial independence and all thinkable welfare, a megalopolis inhabitant starts to lead a dissipated life. But all of a sudden his welfare becomes unbearable. And the careless being can be changed by one thought or occasional meeting."

RIVERSIDE DRIVE runs one hour, twenty minutes with no interval and is performed in English with Russian subtitles. The play is produced with support of the USA Embassy in the Russian Federation, Theatre Communication Group, New York office, and Moscow Art Theater School.
