Winter Wonderland Returns To Winter Jam NYC

On Saturday, Parks & Recreation Commissioner Adrian Benepe, Olympic Regional Development Authority's Brad Clark and Red Bull sponsored pro snowboarder Pat Moore welcomed thousands of New Yorkers to Central Park for snow activities from snowshoeing to snowboarding at Winter Jam NYC.
"Thanks to our partners at the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) and I Love NY, people of all ages could try snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and skiing right in the heart of Manhattan," said Commissioner Benepe. "From the Winter Market with goods from local producers to the world premiere of Red Bull's Project X documentary on Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, Winter Jam NYC provides snow much fun in Central Park. This event brought New Yorkers together for a day of winter sports and spirit in snowy Central Park."Parks presented the biggest snow festival in the city: Winter Jam NYC! The event brought winter fun back to Central Park with the Lake Placid snowfield for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Our partners at Olympic Regional Development Authority made snow for a week leading up to the event to create a winter wonderland.
