Williamstown Adds Extra 'Crimes of the Heart' Performance
The Williamstown Theatre Festival has added a performance of Crimes of the Heart on Friday, August 17 at 3PM on the Nikos Stage. The performance has been added due to a high demand for tickets.
Winner of the 1979 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Crimes of the Heart "is a dramatic comedy about the sorrows and strengths of a Southern sisterhood. Golden Globe and Evening Standard Award winner, two-time Tony nominated and Academy Award nominated actress Kathleen Turner makes her directorial debut with this production," state press materials. The cast includes Patch Darragh, Jennifer Dundas, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Kali Rocha and Chandler Williams.
The show plays August 8-19, Tuesday to Friday at 8:00, Saturday at 8:30 with matinees Thursdays at 3:00, Saturday at 4:00 and Sunday at 2:00, with the added matinee on Friday, August 17 at 3:00. Tickets are $33 and $35 depending on the performance.
