A Salute To The Eagles; is a faithful recreation of The Eagles' timeless hits, in a show that salutes the talent and musicianship of the original members.

The band, comprised of five respected, multi-talented top music industry professionals, presents a dynamic exciting show saluting the music of The Eagles, a supergroup whose music has proven to have a staying power that few bands lay claim to. This highly acclaimed presentation focuses on The Eagles' Hell Freezes Over Tour of the early '90s, capturing the an era when The Eagles' music undeniably transcended the boundaries of rock, R&B and country. It is an exciting showcase of all the chart-toppers, such as "Take it Easy", "One of These Nights", "Take it to the Limit", "Heartache Tonight", "Hotel California", "Lyin' Eyes", "Witchy Woman", "New Kid In Town", "Tequila Sunrise", "Desperado", "Best of My Love" and "Life in the Fast Lane", as well as more recent releases, "Get Over It" and "Love Will Keep Us Alive". The group also performs selected solo hits of 1971 founding members Don Henley and Glen Frey, and Joe Walsh, who joined The Eagles in 1975. The music of The Eagles touched the hearts of a generation.

Ask Wade Hogue of Hotel California why some people would rather see his Eagles tribute band perform instead of attending an actual Eagles concert, and he'll give you his best honest answer. "Ticket price is certainly a big factor and another is being able to see and hear us in a more intimate and smaller venue," said Hogue, who is bringing HOTEL CALIFORNIA- A SALUTE TO THE EAGLES to Westchester Broadway Theatre. "This is a band with killer great harmonies ... just the intricacy of their music and how it was written makes it more challenging to play. And we figured if we were going to cover someone, then we might as well imitate the best," Hogue said. "But you've got to be able to present those great harmonies along with the music and the many specialty instruments it takes to create a diverse sound from country to rock to ballads like they do," he added.

While the band may faithfully recreate the Eagles' sound, don't expect them to look or act like the group's original members. "We dress up with really nice attire on stage and our presentation is more of a show than a concert with us just standing there and playing," Hogue said. "We bring our own special touch to the show by telling the audience something about the songs we are singing....where we were in our lives when it came out," he added.

In addition to Hogue on vocals, keyboards, acoustic guitars, and percussion, band members include George Dickinson on vocals, mandolin, pedal steel, harmonicas, and lead, rhythm, slide, acoustic and electric guitars; Phil Rowland on drums and percussion; Scott Fronsoe on vocals and bass; and Steve Probst on vocals, banjo, and lead, rhythm, acoustic, double neck, and 12-string guitars.

Attending an Eagles show was an unobtainable goal for a large segment of fans..until NOW! Join us on a trip down a dark desert highway, feel the cool wind in your hair, and experience the grammy award winning sounds that defined a generation, Relax, it's time to check into the HOTEL CALIFORNIA!
