The musicAl Blockbuster WICKED will celebrate its 6th Anniversary on Broadway by hosting several special WICKED DAY festivities throughout the New York area, as well as the first ever online global WICKED party on WICKED DAY, October 30th.

This year, WICKED fans in the New York area will be treated to some very special weekends filled with WICKED-inspired events starting in Connecticut at the Stamford Town Center (October 24-25) and following in New Jersey at the Short Hills Mall (October 31 - November 1). Activities will include free giveaways, "Behind the Emerald Curtain" museum displays, "Take Your Photo in Oz" photo booths, and a cast meet and greet at the Short Hills Mall on Sunday, November 1st from 12pm - 1pm with New Jersey locals Michelle Federer (Nessarose), Kevin Kern (Fiyero) and PJ Benjamin (The Wizard).

WICKED fans in Manhattan will have several opportunities to come out and meet WICKED cast members during appearances at Bloomingdales, Splash (both on October 26), and Barnes & Noble (October 30). Additionally, for the week of October 26 - November 1, WICKED fans who participate in the show's nightly lottery will have a chance to win a free copy of the new book Wicked The Musical: A Pop-Up Compendium of Splendiferous Delight and Thrillifying Intrigue (published by Melcher Media), as well as a copy of Defying Gravity: The Creative Career of Stephen Schwartz from Godspell to Wicked, written by Carol de Giere.

Not only will WICKED fans in the New York area be able to participate, but fans from around the world- whether they're in Stockholm, Manchester, or Hong Kong - are invited to throw an official WICKED-themed party with their friends. All party hosts can register their get-together at www.wickedday.com and share details from their events with other fans around the world. Whether it's a "WickEd Halloween Costume Party" or a "Magical Makeover"-themed party, fans are encouraged to tweet, submit photos, post videos and share links from their individual gatherings that will be shared with WICKED fans around the world on the official online WICKED DAY map. In addition to all of these exciting events, WICKED is encouraging its fans around the globe to help the environment by planting a tree. It's inexpensive and helps supply the world with cleaner air and water. WICKED cast members will perform at Bloomingdale's annual Opening Night event. Bloomingdale's is located at 1000 Third Avenue at 60th Street in New York City.

WICKED MUSICAL MONDAY AT SPLASH

Monday, October 26th @ 7:00 pm - 1:00 am

Enjoy a WICKED Musical Monday at Splash with special cocktails, exclusive videos, and oz-some giveaways. At midnight, give WICKED cast members a standing ovation as they top off the evening with performances as part of Scott Nevins' Curtain Call series at this popular gay bar. Splash is located at 50 West 17th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, in New York City.

BARNES & NOBLE

FREE CAST PERFORMANCE AND BOOK SIGNING

Cast members will give a free performance and will sign copies of the new book, Wicked The Musical: A Pop-Up Compendium of Splendiferous Delight and Thrillifying Intrigue, at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Square (Broadway @ 65th street)

Visit the Grand Court to "Take Your Photo in Oz," see the "Behind the Emerald Curtain" museum display, and pick up your "Passport to OZ" - a booklet with oz-some offers throughout the mall.
