And a Happy Birthday shout-out to John Logan, who turns 54 today!

Logan wrote the 2010 Tony-winning play RED, penned I'LL EAT YOU LAST: A CHAT WITH SUE MENGERS, starring Bette Midler, and wrote the book for Sting's THE LAST SHIP. Among Logan's other plays are NEVER THE SINNER, HAUPTMANN, RIVERVIEW and PETER AND ALICE. He also received an Oscar nomination for co-writing Best-Picture winner GLADIATOR in 2000. He earned another nomination for THE AVIATOR with Leonardo DiCaprio and also wrote for the films STAR TREK: NEMESIS, THE LAST SAMURAI, SWEENEY TODD (which got him a Golden Globe), RANGO, an adaptation of CORIOLANUS, HUGO, SKYFALL and the two upcoming Bond films, and finally the TV series PENNY DREADFUL.
