Victoria Clark and More Slated for Actors' Equity PASS IT ON Panel Next Week

The Actors' Equity Association presents "PASS IT ON: Thriving Artists Reflect on a Life in the Theatre", moderated by Ira Mont and featuring Victoria Clark, Mercedes Ellington, Dana Ivey and Jeff Williams, on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Actors' Equity Association - NYC (165 West 46th Street, 14th Floor Council Room).

This 2nd annual panel discussion event will explore career longevity with seasoned Broadway Equity Members who will be on hand to discuss how their show business careers have transitioned over the last several decades.

Schedule: 6:30-7:00 p.m., panelist meet and greet with refreshments; 7:00-8:00 p.m., discussion period. This panel event is free and open to the public. Seating on a first come, first served basis. Participants subject to change.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

IRA MONT (moderator, stage manager) has stage managed more than a dozen Broadway shows including Young Frankenstein, A Little Night Music, Arcadia, Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella and the current revival of Dames at Sea.

VICTORIA CLARK (panelist, actress) created the roles of Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza (for which she received the Tony Award) and Mother Superior in Sister Act over her more than 20 years appearing on Broadway.

MERCEDES ELLINGTON (panelist, actress) has performed on Broadway in the 1971 revival of No, No, Nanette and the original production of Sophisticated Ladies. Ms. Ellington also received the 2007 Paul Robeson Citation from the Actors' Equity Foundation.

DANA IVEY (panelist, actress) made her Broadway debut in 1981 and has seventeen Broadway credits including the original productions of Sunday in the Park with George, Indiscretions and The Last Night of Ballyhoo.

JEFF WILLIAMS (panelist, actor) has performed extensively in regional theatres throughout the country and on Broadway in the ensembles of The Music Man (2000 revival),Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Pirate Queen.
