On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, guest Tom Hanks and Jimmy read scenes written by elementary school kids where the show gave them the title BRIDGE OF SPIES and they had to write the rest. Later, the actor talks starring in the new Steven Spielberg Thriller. Watch all the clips below!

In 2013, Oscar winning actor Tom Hanks made his Broadway debut in Nora Ephron's LUCKY GUY as late Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Mike McAlary.

Tony Award-winning director George C. Wolfe staged the production that began previews March 1 and officially opened April 1. The limited engagement was extended to July 3. Hanks made his Broadway debut as McAlary in a production that traces the tenacious reporter's turbulent rise to success in gritty 1980's New York City.
