VIDEO: THE BAND'S VISIT, Soon To Be a Harold Prince, David Yazbek, Itamar Moses Musical Premiering at The Atlantic

As reported on BroadwayWorld, this spring the Atlantic Theatre Company will premiere THE BAND'S VISIT, a new musical based on Israeli film director Eran Koliri's 2007 feature, with a score by David Yazbek, a book by Itamar Moses and direction by the Broadway legend Harold Prince.

A international award winner, the film begins with an Egyptian ceremonial police orchestra accidentally arriving in Israel on their way to a performance. With no transportation out of town until morning and no hotel available, the band members are offered places to spend the night by members of the community, and politics is cast aside and strangers bond through music and good fellowship.
