Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director, Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) has just announced five productions of its 30th Anniversary Season.

The 2015-2016 season will include a revival of Cloud Nine by multiple Obie Award winner Caryl Churchill (A Number), directed by Obie Award winner James Macdonald (Love and Information); the world premiere musical The Band's Visit, featuring a book by Drama Desk Award nominee Itamar Moses (Completeness), music and lyrics by Tony Award® nominee David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and direction by multiple Tony Award® winner Harold Prince; the world premiere play Skeleton Crew by acclaimed young playwright Dominique Morisseau (Detroit '67); the New York premiere of the musical These Paper Bullets!, by Emmy Award® nominee Rolin Jones ("Friday Night Lights," "Boardwalk Empire") with songs by Grammy Award® winner Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong, staged by Jackson Gay and the New York premiere play The Purple Lights of Joppa Illinois, written and directed by Pulitzer Prize® finalist Adam Rapp (Red Light Winter).

Adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Emmy Award® nominated writer Rolin Jones ("Friday Night Lights," "Boardwalk Empire," "Weeds") and featuring new songs by Grammy Award winning Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong, who wrote the Tony Award® winning musical American Idiot, These Paper Bullets! is directed by Jackson Gay, who staged Jones' The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow in 2005 and Jones' The Jammer in 2013 both at Atlantic. These Paper Bullets! was commissioned by Yale Repertory Theatre where this production premiered in 2014.

The Purple Lights of Joppa Illinoiswas commissioned by South Coast Repertory where it premiered in 2014.
